As some of you may know, my 19 td is off the road at the moment, I need a new front nearside wheel bearing, how much should I look at paying for one? |

there are 2 types of wheel bearings for the r19 on gsf catalogue , one is £16.50 the other is £22 .
the nearest one to you is in cardiff .
going to cardiff on penarth rd turn left from land rover garage and right to bessemer road (think its the 3rd one on the right) and you will see gsf on ur left about 100meters away |

cheers Ben! lol just something I fancied doing for a while now. How are the wing mirrors doing Schakal? I got shitty manual ones on mine, wouldn't mind electric ones, how much did you pay for them? |

they look shite without a grille ,i drove around without one for 2 months and finally bought a crap aftermarket on from motor factors.
are you going to change the bearing yourself ? |

hell no! I've hears they are a nightmare to DIY, anyway, haven't you got to get them pressed in? I wouldn't have a clue how to do it anyways |

yeah u need to press the old bearing out and new one in....i just take the hub off and take it to a garage and ask them to press old out and new in...fiver/tenner a go...then take it home and refit.
i had mine go this last month....very quickly too, within a month from nothing to loud rumbling! v annoying |
