nothing wrong with that car, new clutch and box oil woudl sort the box end out. |

See to me, for some reason that is beyond me, an R19 valver isn't a true valver unless its on a H plate for some reason.... |

If there was the option of a H, J or K plate phase valver all exactly the same I'd pick the H.... |

ph2 shells rust more and easier. Ph1 shells are better made, less bracketry and don't really rust much. |

Yeah, using the phase II shell on phase I cars is just plain gypo, having to chop up the shell at the factory to fit the headlights etc |

Don't get k plate phase I shells as far as I know, even if it is a phase I car ie the good looking one |

Yeah I was, Chris agrees. I think its the mentality that the first of most cars are the best, by the time its mrk 89 phase 12 or whatever it isn't the same |

mid 91 they started usign ph2 shells and ph1 body bits to use up the stocks. Liek geairge said the factory cut off/sometimes left on the ph1 grill and headlight mounts etc on the ph1cars |
