on my 19, the main key (remote central locking) wont lock/unlock the front drivers side door. it just wont budge inside the cylinder. ive given it a good spray with WD40. the main key also does not lock/unlock the door lock on the front passengers side door. the spare key however will lock/unlock the passenger door, but not the drivers door.
heeeeeelp! |

sounds like a plan but the spare doesnt work in the drivers door
lock looks tidy enough...no signs of forced entry or damage at all |

well i sprayed it with WD40 yesterday but it didnt do anything. what i did was, i inserted the key into the cylinder, wiggled it about whilst lifting up the door handle, then it came free. now it works...not 100%smoothly, but works all the same door handle feels a bit funny too so i may lube it up and adjust it somewhen |

as i said earlier ,i had this problem when i first bought my r19 .it was parked outside for 6months before i bought . keep using wd40 also inside the rear doors . basicly spray wd40 wherever yuo see a moving metal bit . |

I've had 4 R19's
2 of which were broken into, 1 with an attempted break in.
the first one they screwdrivered the drivers side door lock, the 2nd one they just smashed the passenger side window (with a pallet! car was left in my works car park overnight after a heavy after work drinking sesh in the pub next door, came in next day to find the car broken into and all caught on cctv and yes the little fooker was caught )
The 3rd one they attempted to screwdriver out the passenger side door lock but failed
