155bhp is quite impressive for a light looking car .
i am not impressed with the spare part prices though.quick check on gsf cataloque , they are twice as more expensive than the valver parts . |

I sawa mint one in blakc go at the auction for 150 quid. If I had the cash I would have had it. They are great motors.
Beith no less! My ex lives there! In fact that looks suspiciously like here street, she would be a few doors down to the right! Thast weird!
The tipos nice as well, another underrated car. |

Yeah its the same 2L Fiat twin cam as found in the lancia Delta, Alfa 155 etc in one form or another.
The Fiat Coupe is based on the Tipo floorpan, as is the 155. A popular mod for the hardcore Tipo fans is the coupe turbo engine.
JB you're right... I do want it |

They're good engines, the basic design dates back to the 1960s! |

they are not that good!
The fiat TC is different to the 16V Tipo lump.
The twin cam is a DOHC 8 valve effort, much like the Xk jag lump. Anoither that was in use for 50 odd years. |

£310 it went for. That's still a bloody good price for a minter with 155bhp as standard. |
