Anyone heard of the band Nightwish?
They are a Norweigen(sp?) Metal band - going to see them in Glasgow on Wed night - well looking forward to it 
Kind of similar in style to Iron Maiden and the like, the lead singer (female) used to be an opera singer, works really well, very orchestral metal opera kind of sound 
Not described that very well have I  |

They're quite big in Europe, not so much here - I'm into all that kind of music, classic rock and metal, not into the real heavy growly stuff.
They sound alot better than I described them there - honnest  |

As you said Neal - heard of them but not heard them (not conciously anyway)
Will need to get downloading some mp3s.
I'm more into the classic rock, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, G'n'R, Iron Maiden all that kind of stuff - my mate is more into the heavier stuff some of which I like and some of which I don't! |
