well rumour and conjecture has it that Renault originally had a turbo version of the F7P planned when it was designed, but turbos were out of fashion at the time so they didnt in the end.
Take that with as much salt as you want.
The gearboxes on the other hand are not well suited to turbos  |

this has been up on e-bay before a ferw times, last time about 6 months back.
Anyway engine will react well to a turbo if its done properly and that ain't done properly! |
