In the middle of changing a driveshaft on one of these...the inner end actually has NOTHING holding it to that car! Ok, so it doesn't really need it, but at least the 19's have 3 small bolts! Quite a suprise when I tried pulling it and it just popped out along with a load of gear oil |

a lot of cars are like that.
I always get the car jacked up as jhigh as I can so I don't spill any oil and thus shouldn't need to top up.
Vauxhalls etc are the same. Also many cars have unequal length driveshafts, ren have qual length shafts, better for redsucing torque steer and lifespan.
On new rens the offside driveshaft doesn't have a roll pin. Just slides on and off. |

Right where do you fill the box up on these things? There is a hole on the top which I think could be it, but how do you tell what level its at? |

I am not quite as good as I used to be on pug boxes, is that the MA box?
If so theres an 8mm allen key socket on the front of the box, same sorta place as the rens. Or beside the shaft, cannae mind, been ages. |

Well, done it, put 2 litres in to the speedo hole. Apparently gear changing is much smoother....which tbh doesnt suprise me much |

Yeah, something like that, the ren gearbox design seems much better. |

aye it is. Theres a few various set ups, like VX screw in, but they seize and crack the casing. |
