Ok, so I can see most you running for the hill at the mention of the word 'Diesel' but I've got one and was wondering what could be done to get a bit more poke. I know there isn't a whole lot you can do, but these people seem worth look:

One of their test cars is a 1.9DT 306 putting out 143bhp! Once finished they are expecting 190! f00king ell!
Thoughts?

I told you before!
Thats not really impressive, 1.7 NA astars pumping out 300ftlb's pof toprque is, the engines don't last though, but you get wheel spin in 3rd flooring it on the motorway.

Think Huw, that new diesel injection technology is the way forward, Its coming on in leaps and bounds, New diesel engine's kick out impressive Bhp and return good mpg. In the case of pug/cit HDI I think they return another 10mpg with the same Bhp. The German manufacturers according to some are in front for there power.
Am pretty sure Chris would have yours kickin out huge Bhp though. |

aye I could give you a few minutes of sheer power then the lump will blow! lol
Should be able to sort somehting out though.
Main prob is I need to see it, pics aren't much help really.
Diesel technology is coming on because we are starting to understand it better. Also high pressure set ups allow it to atomise better, which means better economy and more power. |

Right talking theoretically, how difficult would it be to say put a 1.9/2.2 TDI or DCI engine out of a laguna in to a 19? |
