The girlfriends Megane just had its service and they noticed that the front coil spring was broken at the bottom, so i thought while im at it i would change the front shockers aswell, iv just priced the new items from Eurocarparts and they seem to be reasonable, they say the shockers are Geniune Renault item's, does anybody know if this is true ? and is there kit decent enough ? i dont wanna end up with some shite Laughing

Waiting on GSF calling me back.

I went down to the local Renault dealer just to see how much they are,

Front coil spring = £76.05 each
Front shocker = £50.64 each

The prices at Eurocarparts,

Front coil spring = £26.00 each
Front shocker = £42.75 each

Amazing that the shocker is CHEAPER than the coil spring Confused i think Renault must have been sipping to much red wine when they made up the price list Laughing

Not much in it between the 2 for the shockers but huge difference on the coil springs Shocked

Aye they were off Simons, I sold him the strut brace after he lowered it. For which I am still waiting for payment!

I was gonna stick them on mine, have been meaning to for ohh about a year or so as my springs are broken.

But yep I have them sitting there and they are in good nick.
