I used to own a chamade valver 10 years ago, it would be nice to know where it is now.
It was a tung grey chamade 16v on a j plate - 1992.
I wont reveal the full reg but it was J849 HMP. I still have the italic number plates that were on (it was the fashion then - dont see much nowadays except on bikes).
If you own the car, used to own it let me know. |

The DVLA site is pretty good, things dont look to good for the car though,
last changed hands in october 2001,
ran out of tax at the end of january 2002.
looks like it may have died! |

That vehicle licence site is proving really usefull. Looking at a car for sale on ebay, looks good and spoke to the seller made a lower than starting bid offer if it didnt sell on ebay.
The seller told me they are moving and cant afford to have two cars once they move........................................
then checked the dvla website and new v5 issued on 18th march 2005? approach with caution i think. |

The DVLA site looks good. I've just found out that my car that was "written off" 6 years ago is due to be taxed in Feb 2006! |

I have put in all the registrations of cars I had, (the ones I could remember) and everything I owned from about 5years ago back seems to have died!
Moral of the story....................................dont buy a car from me! |

Got a solution for that. I just put a keg of Stella on the back seat and use a long straw! |

Been to look at that Ph2 chamade and could be onto a bargin.
L reg Ph2 chamade in blue, good paintwork + std alloys
Good leather int
eng has new cam belt, water pump, dissy cap. but when cold seems to be on 3 cylinders then ok when warmed up.
gear change is loose as hell, worried it was gonna come off in my hand. As a result slight crunch going into 3rd, when in gear drives fine.
Fuel comp looks to be working fine all displaying correctly just not lit up. Are the screens backlit or is the lcd screen knackered?
Its got 4 new tyres and 1 years mot.
All for the princely sum of £400!
That was the first Ph2 I been in and I deff prefer the Ph1! |

LCD screens are backlit, bulb on back of the circuit board on the pod, u can tell if the bulb is blown when u turn the key to acc, the display should light up but no info displayed on it
and by the looks of the dvla site,
my first Ph1 16v is dead as are my old Mk2 Golf GTi and my last XR3i |
