Well...well...welll.

cut to the chase...

im driving along, had to give way (again..)

and only place to do so is on the mud...and this prime mud where tlaking about, the super slippy stuff.

so, go to turn back onto the road, and hmm..im not turninig..hit the brakes..hmm im not stopping..

then BAM!!! of all BAMS!! i hit a great big fuck off tree.

then i did stop.

hurting my chest in the process.

anyway. photos of the carnage.

thats not to bad. Thing is it looks like a direct hit to the chassis rail, if it was more to the passengerside then it would be fine but I dunno. Get pics of it in daylight with the bonnet open. Inner wing looks bent as well.

As for insurance don't bother. Fix it yourself, if its not all bad then get a rope/chain round a lampost and reverse away to straighten it out.

If its fecked then just scrap it but don't tell the insurance company, it'll feck you up for years.

another side piccy, the others where more then 200k so cant upload. but ill take another few with battery out soon. shold of done that before i took the pics, but its to cold and i didnt take my tools out with me.

also the fan motor has been pushed back on the clutch cable so thats also kinda nackerd. hence the naff clutch as i mentioned eairler.

if i dont claime on the insurance. surly that woudent feck up the insurance.

i think ill just register another one under the insurance, and keep that one untill my insurance is run out.

if thell eccpt that. Sad

the scrap man calls...

don't claim just scrapit. Get another car, an admin fee will be charged and you may have to pay more depending on the replacements cars ins group.

how much will the admin fee be?

also, there is still quite a few good bits on the car. might put it up for salvage.

gonna get the same motor me thinks..

just swap em over on the insurance.

but if i tell them what happend to the other car...but NOT claime.

thay still bump up the premium for crashing anyway?

even if i dont claime. so i would stil have a year no claimes..

not only that ill have to register it as a write off.

and the insurance people will wanna knowabout that too.

you don't tell them what happened to the car. Just get the insurance transferred over.

Its normally about 20 quid for a swap over admin charge.

Yopu don't have to register anything with anyone.

ust swap the insurance to a new car, take the bits you want off the clio then scrap the thing. Job done.

Admin charge on my insrance was £10.75 i think, not exactly a whole lot. The less your insurance company knows the better. Your not doing anything wrong by not telling them.
