Picked up my Gearbox curclip and washer yesterday, so I might just be getting my hands dirty this weekend!

have fun!

my phase 1 is back on the road after doing the circlip on it.

don't forget you need gearbox oil to top it up afterwards.

Roddy is coming over to pick up a pair of springs, little does he know hes gonna be swapping the gearbox on the white chamade! lol

Dunno what I'll be doing, car related as always though!

goin to pick up the boy tonight, so hes down for the weekend, so be muckin about with him...hes had chicken pox this week poor thing.

gotta drive to taunton to meet them, half way, which tbh is a nice blast down the m4/m5..late at night its nice and quiet.

well got the engine out complete, piccys to follow, took a grand toltal of 2 hrs including braking the engine hoist Rolling Eyes

I'll post the picys but the bloody allen bolt that locks the pistons in place came out Rolling Eyes managed to get it back in but it was a wee headache at the time Smile

I cannae get any of the 16V struts apart!!!!!

I wanted to swap the bearing, everythign all ready to go cannae get the top nut off.

when i was swappin spring from old strut to new strut i couldnt get the nut off either...ended up hacksawing the bastard off...off course i didnt care about the strut.

turns out that the passenger side spring on the 19 is snapped as well as the drivers.

Just sold the springs I was gonna use to roddy this morning Rolling Eyes

Did a fair bit over the weekend too, changed my m8's cam belt and aux belt, changed my alternator and finally got the head off the 16v Smile
