if they issue a fixed penalty i am expecting 6 points and a £90 fine.

if they go ahead with a court appearance i can prolly get it down to 3 points but with a £200 fine plus costs

i got caught doing 106mph on the m1 by an unmarked car about 4 years ago, had to go to court on that one cos it was over 100mph and a driving ban is usually the penalty.

I pleaded not guilty to the 106mph saying traffic conditions would have prevented me doing that speed, i told the court i was more like doing 85 - 90 mph and pleaded guilty to that.
I think they was happy cos they still got a conviction but it cost me 9 points and a £230 fine.

typically i just get my license clean and then get caught speeding again lol
