Guys.. and gals now i'm here better post this question here to! I have myself a brandnew problem I've already searched around a bit but couldn't really find exactly the same problem. In Short, I tried to start the car a few days ago (it wasn't completely cold (1,5 hours) it turned over perfectly but it just wouldn't start, i tried 4 times and about 4-5 seconds a time. The fifth time i tried the started turned and kept turning but all the lights and meters on the dash went dead (even my stereo lost all settings and stations. So I stopped starting, all lights came back on also my stereo (without settings) and this time it started perfectly. What could it be?
Renault and electrics are a recipe for trouble! |

dodgy earth i'd say. look at my earthing/battery terminals guide. Also have a look at the battery terminals see if they show evidence of arcing. |

Cheers mate, Gonna have a look at it. Did change the earths on the gearbox when everything was out a few weeks ago. Gonna check if it sits tight! |
