right seeing as u lot have all being doing videos, thought i would do one too
just including this last one i took thou because it highlights a problem i have with the ECU / rev limiter
watch the bottom right hand side of the vid, at 120mph and 6000 rpm u will see a yellow light flash up, thats the limiter and it wont let me go any faster!
video
test conducted on a private test track of course |

Aye, gonna be visiting local renault breakers this weekend in search of a standard ECU then i can rip apart one thats currently on the car and test the superchip.
we got eprom programers at work and diagnositc software.
i can't remap it as don't have the software for that but i can at least check what the current mapping is on the eprom. |

i did swap my Ph1 ECU into my PH2 and vice versa, neither of them would start the other car. something to do with the immobliser on them.
the ECU now in my Ph2 is from another Ph2 and the breakers i got it from had several differing types of ECU for the 16V.
had to take mine out of the car and into his office so we could make sure the numbers matched.
so . . the answer to wether they are interchangeable between Ph1 and Ph2 is Yes & No lol
if the numbers match then it will work and oh don't forget to plip.
when you put an ECU from another into your car, you have to plip the remote (lock/unlock doors) to enable the ECU. |

i didnt know that the ECU was in anyway attached to the plip, and i didnt know that there was an immobiliser involved with the ECU either. |
