Anyone know about this, im having a hard time getting my head around all the BIOSes, dashboards and crap.
Ive chipped the machine with an Xecuter 3 chip, flashed it with the latest X3 BIOS, and now i want to install the EvoX dashboard and then upgrade the hard drive to the 120gig one ive bought.
Its very confusing  |

stu used to get them done but wasn't worth his time, but they can be quite impressive when they are done.

Despite Bill's undoubtedly extensive knowledge of such matters, I am quite sure that he would not really jump at the chance to help me with this 
Besides, ive got it licked now, just got in and installed my 120gigger no problems, FTPing the contents of the old HD to the Xbox now. Should be pretty much ready to go then. woot! |

Hi m8 If you can boot the bios (I.e: Boot up the mod chip), then all you need is slayer's 2.6 disk, which will configure everything for you.
Your best bet is www.xbox-scene.com goto tutorials!!
If not mail me as I'm always on here trying to get someone to supply me the code for my car as ren-no keep saying no
I suggest getting it working with the original HD and once you know everything works fine then then put the 120G in and use the slayers disk again to set thhe 120 up!!
PS: I also suggest that you dont do gaming online!, but then again the choice is yours!
Its VERY simple dont let it get to you, xbox has one of the best media players available - it plays almost anything even .Bin files so you dont have to burn movies etc to CD.
More then will to help with any IT, Ps2, Xbox etc questions anyone has.
