As you know theres 2 little locating dowels on the head, one of mine has corroded itself to peices. Can I get away without this?

get another one, like 30p or something, its there for a reason matey.
Althought it will prob be fine without it but the head will move more during heat cycles etc eventually leading to failure but your selling it so that matters not. |

True, but i'd rather do it right. I'm guessing renault is the only place to get it? I've cleaned the other one up with a dremmel, just got rid of the outer coating of rust, maybe that will be ok? I'll get a pic up
edit: its still a pretty tight fit, can't see it being any worse then when it came out... |
