As ye know shortly after i got the new, blue 19 the gearbox gave up on it
3rd and 5th were nowhere to be found and the rest of the gears were a tad rattley
So i parked it up until it was ready for its new lump.
I took it out yesterday for a spin an it got a little bit noisier and i started to get the smell of gearoil and popcorn inside the car. I was down the garage and when i went to take off in first it kept lockin solid lol
Had the drive the fucker home in the only workin gear - reverse
Was funny the amount of looks i got |

PMSL - that's classic! I've driven home using a choke to launch me to a whooping top speed of 16mph in 4th in an '81 Metro but that doesn't even come close to driving backwards. Cheg on geeza |

I can tell you that a fiesta will get very warm in reverse if you try and do anything over 10mph in reverse.
Still the heater was very warm and my neck hurt like a mofo. |
