Hi folks, Im hoping some one can tell me the torque settings and sequence for a cylinder head on a 1.6 diesel renault extra 1992 , its the same engine (F8M) as in the renault 5 but they dont do a haynes manual for it so I'm kinda stuck at the minute and dont want to risk warping the head that I've just had skimmed.
Cheers phil

Yes, I'm that man. I got to look at the head off the renault 9 and it is the same, apart from a couple of small waterways. Its obviously the pre-updated head but Im going to fit it as soon as i can get the touque settings.

torque settings

1st 3daN.M
2nd 80+-4 degrees

wait at least 3 mins

loosen all the bolts

1st 2.5daN.M
2nd 213 +- 7 degrees

you'll need to get a the cvonversion from daNM to either NM or lbft yourself.
