if you have never done filer before, then it is quite hard, especially on something not flat, use epoxy resin to glue the crack first before filler otherwise it will just crack again.once youve applied the filler and it has dried, (1/2 hr) spray a light dusting of black paint preferably, as once you have sanded down the paint will show any low spots and where u have missed when sanding down. put 3 layers on,1 ,ain coat, then sand down, then a very thin coat, then sand, then anover thin coat for a smooth finish.Dont spray your mirrors outside, do them in a conservetory or something, otherwise dust will get attracted to it and stick and give you a sand paper style finish.give 2 or 3 coats at hr/2hr intervals, dont worry bout still being transparent after the first coat, this is why the other coats are applied to give a nice shine.

hope this helps you.

p.s use 80 grit sand paper first time, then 120, then 320. for an excellent finish.

All the painted mirrors will crack eventually, only the plain black ones get away without cracking.

Dans advice is good though

But it will crack again at some point
