I topped up my oil yesterday, she's right up on max on the dipstick. When I first start the car, the oil pressure is right up near the top. Just been for a 20 min drive, came back and sat idling on my driveway I thought my oil pressure was rather low??......
Is it normal for it to be this low? Not sure if I've ever seen it that low before. Am probably worrying about nothing, but just thought I'd ask. If I blip the throttle a bit, it'll rise up a bit & come back down to that y'know. That's normal tho innit. |

Very much true chris, although i would say the engine temp looks quite high for a 20 minute drive! Was the fan running at the point of taking the pic?? |

Well I'd been driving for about an hour & a half earlier on in the day......then parked in the sun at mates house for about an hour, then 20 min drive home. It was probably more than a 20 min drive actually lol. But yeah, never had any temp problems with the car and yeah the fan did come on when I was parked in drive. Was running whule I went inside to get me camera etc too. |

flush system, remove rad and flush through the fins for dirt / dead insects etc. when i did my HG and removed the piping i saw just how much crap there was inside them...a goold ol' spring clean helped a bit, but the thermo did most of the work. |
