It's gone through 4 mounts in as many years, two of which have gone in the 4 months! Just came back to Manchester and the engine's started knocking whenever you move off in 1st, no matter how smoothly you accelerate.
Sounds like it's an engine mount, and with the noise coming from right behind the speedo so I'm fearing it's the rear mount under the scuttle! Not happy!
So now the list of mechanical faults on my car is as follows:
Blown Head Gasket
Worn Front Shocks
Troublesome Gearbox
Broken Rear Engine Mount
Yet despite having done 300 miles in the last week she still doesn't complain and she keeps on going! Nothing seems able to stop this engine from giving reliable service!
I don't know whether to sell up or keep her purely on the basis that she's given no real trouble in 5 years! |

you are just lucky i guess ben . . lol
rear engine mount on my ph2 is on its way out too, loving the way my gearstick moves back and forward when i accelerate/brake. |
