Can somebody just check that this list of bits is all I need to swap the brakes on my 1.4 to 16V specification? Then I can get on the blower to Paul at Infinicar and get the bits ordered when student loan comes thru' on Saturday!
19 16V Caliper Carriers
19 16V Caliper Bolts
19 16V Calipers
19 16V Discs (New)
19 16V Pads (New)
Ta in advance!

you could get the calipers and caliper carriers distinctly cheaper than paul at infinicar. Perhaps someone on here is breaking a 16v? |

well on the clio i'm running 1.2 carriers with 16valve discs and pads cos all the holes line up the same so no need to change the carriers on the clio so i imagine it will be the same for the 19 |

a 16V disc will never in a million years fit through a 1.2 carrier.
Only a 16V carrier will take a 16V disc.
The 1.2/1.4 carriers are the same but the disc gap is at most 15/20mm.
The rsi/gtt carrier is wide enough to accept the 16V disc but doesn'ty allwo it to mate to the hub. |

One more question my Dad's raised about the brake upgrade - will the 1.4's master cylinder be sufficient to run the 16V brakes?
And I assume my 1.4's brake lines are ample and don't need to be uprated? |
