Trying to torque up my cam cover bolts. Look in haynes they make referance to 6mm and 8mm bolts, but I have 10mm and 13mm bolts...whats going in there? Anyone know the corret torque settings?

lol
6mm and 8mm is referring to the threads....M6 and M8
the 10mm and 13mm u r referrign to are the size of the heads...M6 has a 10mm a/f hex head....
6mm - 10NM
8mm - 24NM
as it says in the haynes |

are you on about the same cam cover i took of the chammy lately ?

No, i didn't mean the rocker cover, i was talking about the cage like things that hold the cams down. |

Well, not too tight, obviously. Haynes didn't mention a sequence, but i did them all hand tight first then worked from the middle outwards. |

hardly any effort at all on the rocker bolts, they will mash the thread in the ally far too easy. |

yes theres a sequence.
the ever growing circle is the recomended way. I do the inner bolts working outwards then I do the outer bolts. I then go back over them after 15 mins as the gasket compresses. |
