Hi all.
I've driven my R19 Ph1 for couple of years now and I'm had enough of a certain banging sound. It comes from the lower mounting of the right shock absorber.
Some previous owner has put a piece of threaded bar and two nuts instead of the original bolt. Damn idiot.
Anyway, I'm going to go to a Renault service to get the necessary parts. Do I need something besides that original bolt? Like some washers perhaps?
Thanks. |

Thanks Chris.
Hmm...
Had a look at the mounting. The threaded rod is a bit bent. How in the heck do I get it off? With a pipe wrench? Warming the suspension arm arounf the hole and cooling the rod? |
