just been to do my twice weekly move of the chamade so it doesnt look abandoned, and its got a warning notice on it for having no tax. bugger.
Is the warning like the TV license thing where they warn you and as long as you then get a license, youre ok? can i just get some tax and not worry about it? |

u got the V5 for it yet ?
get it taxed asap, no more warnings but a flatbed truck which will scop it up and shove it in a pound, to get it released u have to show a valid tax disc, pay a fee for them removing it from the public highway, a storage fee for how long its there and then you also get a fine, oh joy.
I know this cos they took away my neighbours RST 2 days ago and thats the hassle he has got to go thru to get it back!
u may also want to check out wether the car parks around your home are considered public highway, i bet they are classed as OFF ROAD parking in which case you don't need tax on the car but declare it SORN.
you may get away with parking it round the back of your house where the garages are and also declare it sorn as its parked 'off road' |

you'll need to pay the fine unless the date on it is all wrong. |

Friend at uni got one of these outside our halls for having out of date tax by about 2 weeks. She backdated the tax to the start of the month and heard nothing more about it. |
