Andy Nicholls is very well known in the Rover tuning community. He has a white maestro that he uses in ten of the best as well. Fastest road legal front wheel drive car in the country. |

yeah there are vids of it on that site too..
the blue one is more powerful i think..
as the white one as know as "old spec"
so i assume the blue one = faster. :-/ |

Saw this mentioned on another thread here. It's been blue for a while now, I think maybe a year or thereabouts. You can see some videos of it at this year's recent Ten Of The Best here:

It has a heavily modified Rover T16 turbo engine. It's a 2 litre as standard but has been bored out to 2.1.
For anyone that's interested, the T16 turbo engine was fitted in the 220/420 turbo, 220 coupe turbo, 620ti and 820 Vitesse Sport from the factory. Maestros and Montegos never came with the T16 engine from the factory but there was a 2 litre turbo O series 8 valve engine available in these. |

Standard O series turbo engine in (MG) Maestro turbos as far as I remember are 150bhp (or that could be 150PS).
Standard T series turbo is 200PS (approx 197bhp). |
