what chance? you could have just asked and been told for free that its not going to happen, and saved yourself that £150. |

Well, even if the engine is a no go, I reckon I can make most of the £150 back.
Admittedly it was an impulse buy, spurred on by the fact that F7P's often sell for more than £150 on eBay, and F7R's quite a lot more still.
I thought for £150 it was cheap as chips, if it don't work, I'll sell it on and get over it. But if it does work, then I'll gain a 114bhp hike in power for £150!
May turn out to be a foolish purchase, but sometimes you have to make the mistakes in order to learn from them! |

chaps you can get anything to fit into anything its just a matter of time and money (I have seen a ford small block v8 in a honda 600 granted it didn't leave a lot of room and the drivers seat was over the back axel ) so anything is possible never say it can't be done because somebody will prove you wrong. |

clio engine bay has abotu the same space, a damn sight more space at the rear on the clio than the 19.
Anyway it will not fit without heavy modifications. |

it was not a month ago that you were berasic, ben and now you've gone and bought that!
If anyone has £15,995 to spare, there is an 02 plated Clio V6 for sale in my local Renault garage. |

Right well admittedly I'm not as clued up on these engines as I am the traditional F/C/E-series engines swapped between the 19's/Clio's.
When I was scouting for power figures a lot of these engines are automatic, but I am not aware what setup this engine will be.
As for management, not too sure either. I know it sounds a foolish buy but £150 isn't gonna put a major dent in the pot and I should imagine that I could make the best part of that figure back by selling it on.
The only thing that concerns me is what will inevitably missing from the engine, 'cause I'm pretty certain something will be!
Other than that, I need to know the main obstacles to be overcome to get this engine in the bay, 'cause admittedly I have no real hands-on experience with engines. |

Right, just had message from the seller - everything is there apart from the 'box. Hopefully it wont be a major nightmare trying to get hold of another one! |
