Thinking about what to do with the new chammy. At the moment its 100% standard. A few people have suggested a panel filter instead of an IK. Anyone have any preferances? Only thing i can think of is the panel filter is going to cost more than a 20 quid universal IK |

IK any day of th eweek.
I stuck a post up about it ages ago.
I got an airbox off of David I think it was and stuck it on, with no filter as the one in it was manky and I done a test run. A good bit slower than when it has the IK on.
IK on the 19 isn't as bad as the clio so the heat doesn't affect it, unless your sittign in traffic for an hour and try to race away. |

I found that on my clio, the best was standard airbox+foam filter i made.
then i drilled a few 30mm holes to give the desired roar, with no loss of performance.
with the new engine its going to be the same set-up with a cold air feed taken from one of the blanks in the bumper |
