Hi everyone, just thought id introduce myself. Joined the site today!
Just joined the world of renault ownership having bought a 93 blue renault 19 16v chammy last thrusday.

It used to belong to huw, i believe he frequents this forum.
Its pretty much standard cept its got KnN induction kit, DTM twin exhaust and a decat pipe. Done 119,000 and still going relatively strong! |

alrite huw, haha yeah shes still going, developed a nice rattle on start up but i just turn the tunes up. Dashboard got very hot on the way up to newcastle which was interesting!
Hows the red beast? Any plans for it? |

Rattle on start up could be tappets? theres new 15w40 oil in there, some slightly thinner stuff might be needed?
Reduns good Cant beleive some of the bodge jobs on it though, like the bolt through the steering column to stop it being adjustable |

Renault 19 16v isn't just a car its a disease and Liam's well and truly caught it off me, not sure he's going to thank me for it though!

i reckon its the stick on plastic lights on the boot at the back, either that or the cable ties the exhaust is held on with are coming loose!
Trusty renault alarm and immobiliser!! Speaking of bodges, i loved the switch for the wipers on top of the steereing column!
Neal, where abouts are you based? How much are you after for the wing? |
