Think the gearbox mount/s may have gone...........who am I kidding! Definately gone, only problem is I can't seem to find somewhere that supplies the parts. Does anyone know where I can get the mount/s from and as well as that is there a simple solution to stopping rain water getting into the spark plug wells?

Outside the car, right underneath where the gear stick is.

any factors sell the mounts for ALL renaults, I have yet to find a factor that cannot sell me the mounts.

20 quid for a lever spring, lol I assume you bought the kit. The actual 19 spring is about a fiver. Or B&Q for about a quid.

All the spring does it pull the lever over, it doesn't tighten anything up.

Anyway the only way to remove the play in the lever is to rose joint the bugger.

Even when in top nick the stick will still move about 15mm.

Of course if its wallowing about 4 inches then new bushes at the box end and put superglue into the orange balljoint to stick the rubber back to the shaft.

engine mounts also do not do anything to stop lever play.
