i've been looking at the prices for fuel pump and am becoming confused! (clio) is there 2 pumps on all clio models (one in tank electrical and one mechanical) as looking on gsf the electrical one does not state that the 16 valve one is different.
however i presume the mechanical one will be different? if so can anyone recommend a CHEAP one that is up to the job and will last a fair length of time

what you want to know is what the psi or bar rating is for the pump if its a valver i think its 90psi if its a carb engine about 2 psi. hope this helps |

well it's for when i change the 1.2energy engine over to the F7P, i do have an ajustable fuel pressure regulator but i'm presuming it will need a bigger fuel pump as it won't be designed to take it will it? |

you need a 16V fuel pump. The pumps are different.
The mechanical pump is of no concern to you as its for carbed engines only.
just go to the scrappies get a clio/19 16V pump job done. |

was just working out the psi into bar and 90psi works out to 14bar so i think the pressure guess is way out! ahh well |
