TVR Sagaris Very Happy Didn't see it for long as it was flying past me.

Also, Lorry drivers have replaced OAP drivers on my Shit List. WHY do they insist on flashing their lights when you pass them? WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

to let you know its safe to pull in front of them, they always do it for long loads as you cant always tell where the back end is, its just being polite thats all. and when you have passed them you indicate left, right. left to thank them.

Nice TVR too btw lol.

I thought the flashing was to aid lorrys overtakin lorrys? Cuz lorry drivers would probably find it difficult to know where their back end is, wheras people in cars don't really need to be told when it's safe to pull in.........unless ur car changes in length when u overtake stuff lol. Like I could overtake a smart car, or a thousand metre long lorry......pulling infront of each of them would be the same. Also, I thought a quick flash of the hazards was to thank a driver for lettin u past? Not a left then right? I've let people past me when I used to drive a fiesta, and they sometimes flashed hazards........unless it means "get a decent car u frikkin twat" Laughing

i dont think it really matters whether u indicate alternatively, or use the hazards or stick ur hand out the window and wave...something to show ur thankful is curtious.

and like i said...they prolly flash cos u r drivin down the middle lane when theres nothing in the slow lane!!!!

i was aware of the flashing indicators to say "cheers mate!" or "cheers luv!" when somebody lets you pass them. But for years i had always wondered why i was flashed when i passed a lorry. Oh well, mystery solved Laughing

Had a lorry driver right up my arse giving me abuse and hand gestures last week when i was sticking to the 50mph speed limit on a motorway that was in place. He was a right Wanker!
