that's the program Renault dealers use to find parts and where technical information is stored as well as a lot of diagrams, photos etc.
it runs on a Mac and I will get it next weekend. need to install a Mac emulator first, hope everything runs smooth.
then I will be able to find out prices, part numbers and more stuff without going to the local dealer
besides, it contains more detailed repair guides than my manual.
will let you know how it goes |

i have the windows version, as do many on here
The program itself is a bit shite really, and only useful for the exploded view diagrams (if you can work out how to find the one you need) |

oops, I wasn't aware that almost everybody had it nowadays
I was told the windows version (that you can d/l via file-sharing) rarely works so I will get the original Ren version, albeit an older one. since it's for the 19 I don't care, older is better in that case as information regarding older models is taken out progressively. |

the Mac emu is named Basilisk or something like that. you need a Mac ROM too or else it won't work. I'll let you know the details when I get the whole package on the weekend. |

I have downloaded a couple of files with the extensions .bin and .cue, are these mac format?
I think .bin says it all..
Can someone post a link or something for the windows version? |

yeah the .bin is the image file for the windows version. The .cue file is simply a file which specifies to the burning program what .bin file to read from. You can open the .cue file in notepad and see for yourself
Just use Nero or (as I do) Fireburner to burn the .bin to a CD
should be 3 CDs, though ive only ever used 2 of them |

I run a 2000version for Windows. Took me 4h to get it working.. damn java versions, damn quicktime, damn renault software.
Its full of bugs but it helps a little when searching for spares.
btw, I only use one CD. I think its missing some exploded diagrams. |

it was all pretty easy to set-up. I got a so called "Mac Emulator Pack" that includes the Basilisk II software (the emu itself), Mac OS 8 and a Mac ROM. it emulates a rather old Mac (680x0 processor, no PowerPC) but Dialogys will run on it just fine.
all this will be setup via your average windows installer and the Mac is ready to go afterwards. installing Dialogys (I got a late 2003 version but will go for an earlier one in the future) was easy too.
it all runs smooth in a window (full screen also possible) on my XP system. I'm a happy bunny now.

Can someone provide a link, or tell me of a website.
