I hate having to do work. I really detest it.

Why can't I just get paid lots for not much!

I have to change a mondeos cambelt and tensioners and cannot be bothered.

The 16V needs its bonnet vent sorting as well, tape (courtesy of rustyarchs) is holding it down the now but I need to sort it out properly.

Well if you fix it and get paid then you can spend the cash on the Lottery and if you win then you wont have to work ever again!

well i get paid tomorrow.

And I couldn't do the full job.

Its a rip off garage story.

Guy who lives down the road and owns a mondeo taxi went on saturday for a new cambelt.

So Â£100 lighter he left the garage.

He came to my door, cap in hand, big lip etc sayign he has a problem.

The garage had shut.

And it had thrown the aux belt and there was a lot of dodgy noises.

Basically it had thrown belt due to the water pump pulleys bolts fallign out, only 1 botl remained. So I gave him new bolts and got the belt fitted properly.

Then I sent him off for a new belt and fitted it.

job done, but I told him to go back down and also the cambelt wasn't tensioned properly and the cover had been fitted incorrectly so it was being cut into.

So I said I'll sort it and eplace th etensioners which are makign noises, not terminal but enough to need changed!

Anyway I couldn't get the bottom pulley off even with the starter method. so I re-tensioned the cambelt fitted the covers properly etc so its running better and quieter.

I will get a shot of my local frindly garages air gun and zip the bolt out when he has a free day so I can get the car.
