lo peeps,
Just thought i'd ask any opinions, since i put the cat back on for MOT, idle seems to be noticably lumpy, and i can;t remember it being like that before when the de-cat was on, she also only just made the emissions at MOT, i.e. it took a while to come down to 1.025 and the limit was 1.03, the CO2 was fine, but he said she was running a little rich. and that was why it only made it.
Could this explain the lumpy idle or is this only the fact that the cat is back on.
Or is this cause is has the willy under the bonnet? when it should be a 1.8?
R19 with Willy 2L, 2L ECU, Scorp pipe, BMC induction, (and will have decat back on in a couple of days)

hey jimbo,
This is totally a willy engine, so is it not better to match the engine with the correct ECU, and do you think i should chip the 2L ECU? |

the one you stuck back on, its not working properly and its partially blocked.
A working cat should reduce the co to 0.0. |

so I assume you gave us the lambda readings then?
It could be anything but if it only happened when you fitted the cat then I'd say air leak at the cats flange, this will cause dodgy emmision readings and it will upset the car a tad. |
