I have a 1.8 8v RSi engine, F3P, and i've been led to believe that the F3R block from the 2.0 8v lagune will fit straight on to the head and gearbox.
Can anyone confirm/deny this?
Also i presume that if i get a complete block and head i will need a lagune loom/bodge mine up to it, and it goes wihtout saying a new ECU |

not entirely 100% sure on this.
The bottom end will deffo bolt straight on though, the same gaskets are used btw.
The injectors on the 2 litre lump are 2 noles efforts pressing against a rubber washer, dunno if its different on the older rsi's.
Also the laguna loom is in 2 bits, the top section and lower section whilst on the clios and 19's its 1 loom.
The heads on the 2l are particularly crap, I am gonna port the lagunas a bit before I stick the head back on today.tomorrow. |
