Hi.
I've seen in the Haynes manual and heard mentioned on here about a straight through pipe that replaces the centre box. I currently have a de-cat and Clio 16v backbox on my 1.4 RT, would there be any benifit from having no centre box?
Also, I've noticed my gears feel a bit dodgy and they are no way as smooth as they used to be, you feel a hard sort of resistance, no crunching, just as though the gear stick isn't going in straight :/
Hard to explain, but it just kind of doesn't go in very easy. I've never changed the oil in the gearbox, maybe that would be a good idea?.
Cheers in advance. |

Is that a general "Yes no centre box is good and oil change, problem sorted?"
Or a random yes?
Or "Yes, you posted six threads"?
