Right, I'm considering getting either of these tyres
Toyo Proxies T1-R's - got the T1's on the TD and they grip pretty damned well!.
Avon ZV3's - had these on the last 16v and they were pretty good too.
Not sure which to go for, Avons last longer I presume? Price wise theres only a pound in it. |

my toyos have not worn, I was told they would be gone in 10 mins with high speed driving.
They have covered a few k now and at high speeds and are fine.
I ordered toyos for the laguna, cos its on 14's though its crappy cf1 thingies. |

Toyo Proxies are great tyres, stick to the road like shit to a blaket.
However they don't last all that long, I'd say you'd get about 5,000 more out of the Avons.
If you were going for 4 tyres I'd set get Toyos cos they are really good as a set, but your just going for two and matching them with Yokos - I'd get some Avons up front and stick the Yokos to the rear. |
