if i was to get hold of some 33mm inlet valves, would the F7P head accomodate them ok? would the seat inserts be ok to work or would larger ones be required to be pressed in...?
cheers

I'm interested in this too.
What is the standard inlet valve size on the F7P? Is there much benefit to be had from fitting bigger valves? |

std size is 30mm....williams have 32mm...megane 2.0 coupe (phase 1s) have 33mm.
both have 28 exhausts.
the benefit will be increased air flow into the cylinder. from a stock F7P head to 33 would be noticable. im running 32s on my 1.8 and thats noticable...just helps it keep puillin a bit harder at the top of the rev range...also improves low end a tad.
goin to 33mm would be expensvie. buying the valves, cutting the new seats (even more if the seats need replacing).... |
