Chunk,
I saw a picture of your R19 the other day and it had M reg plate on it? Whats the story there then? |

Ah. hmmm well it's a H reg. Was re-regg'd in Ireland. in 1995. then chunk sold that plate on. so that's made it a M reg. |

lol JB, not quite thou, subtle changes between Ph1 and Ph2
Indicator and lightstalks changed from the squarer ones to the curvy ones (the ph2 stalks being the same as in r1916s pic)
Electric window switches moved from centre of the dash to the door handles, front and rear fog light switches moved from right hand side of the steering wheel into the centre dashboard posistion previously occupied by the leccy window switches.
I think only the ph2 Execs had the air con controls on the heater panel, my ph2 valver does not have those as my car does not have aircon.
Clock posistion different too, usually on the far left of the centre switches, not in between the switches like on r1916s's.
Also the digital clock used on ph1 16v's was replaced for the analogue version but not the same one as used on r1916s's, his is the more updated version.
the Ph2 kept the squarer style switches from the ph1 with the exception of the leccy window switches which are the same as used on r1916s's car, his other switches are the curvy style that match his leccy window switches.
Late model ph2 Exec's have the newer steering wheel with airbag and the non digital dash.
and oh the door speaker plastic cover on the ph2 changed too.
i think thats it. |

beh...minor things....
i was just referring to the actually dash itself anyway...as in the moulded dash is just p1, rather than a completely different swoopy p2 one. |

thats what most of us think...some claim to have seen RHD swoopy ones but there just isnt any pics/evidence....if ren had gone to the effort to make mould tooling to produce RHD swoopies, they would be everywhere. |
