well i spent some time rebiulding the engine and getting everything as good as possible and after dropping the engine in someone tells me iv just downgraded it, the engine that was in there to begin with was a F3P 700 and the one thats in there now is a F3P 758, the 700 is 115bhp and the 758 is a crappy 90bhp, can anyone clear this up for me as im having sleepless nights now

cheers Wink

yeah the 115bhp one is MPI, the other is SPI.

The engine is the same, if you transfer the MPI bits off the 700 onto the 758, then it too will make the 115bhp

I got the numbers from you in your original post. The actual numbers arent important, theyre only ballpark figures anyway, and will vary by a few bhp from engine to engine as well.

something always have to happen for ferks sake, just bought a set of ph1 alloys that came with goodyear eagle nct2 s with 6mm thread on all tyres . one of the tyres was punctured by the looks of the nail sticking of the tyre ,took it to a tyre repair place and went to get it back only to see they cant fix the bloody tyre as there are 2 little rips on the sidewalls ,fair enough ,i dont know how safe to drive with that tyre be anyway but now ,i have 3 goodyear tyres and 1 will be missing .
whats the regulation regarding the make of tyres ? i made a search for 1 eagle nct2 but cant seem to find 1 anywhere ???
here are some taty pics of the rips
