Over the last 3 years I have owned
1. 92 Fiat Panda
2. 90 Nissan Sunny 1.4 DOHC
3. 95 Renault 21 2.0 RT
4. 94 Renault Espace 2.0 RN Helios
When they have broke down as all older cars do I found the Panda the best to repair. It did 100MPH, without the cliff. Exhaust fell off though. I paid £200 for it 92 plate it cost pence to insure and did me for 20k
Sunny was super fast, did 50MPG. Cheap tax, cheap insurance, got it for nothing, first MOT cost £60. Last MOT the guy said rotten as a pear, or did I hear pair?
R21 paid £300, did 78 miles and head gasket blew( some joker disconnectted the fans).Loved to drive it, felt like a Volvo. Paid £63 for head set and £21 for cambelt. Never got it running again. MOT'd in the scrap yard.
Renault Espace, paid £900. Never liked to drive it, close pedals, car mirrors on a van, sh1t on corners. Wish I had bought a Mitsubishi Space Wagon. Insurance!!! Dont even go there. Guess where I inherited aa family!!
Bottom line, I want my Panda back. I know you guys go for looks and speed, I just want a car that is a car and drives. Panda sounds funny but I scrapped it cos the windscreen was cracked. |
