my19 hatch is rubbing onto bodywork left hand side nice 2inch gap otherside how do i correct this whats adjustment adjustment procedure ta

i assume its the front than and believe you have a broken spring ,change it ,job done Laughing

righty rear 19 hatchback. hatchback itself is out of alignment catching rear quarter just above light cluster on left hand side .right hand side has2/3inch gap onrear quarter panel when closed .by hatchback i mean the thing you lift up/down to put shopping in chrisl understand.

yes, i fully understand the concept of the tailgate too thanks.

schakal obviously thought you were on about the wheels so i think its fair to say your original desription of the problem was lacking somewhat wouldnt you say?

Anyway, have you inspected the tailgate hinges themselves? Look at the Project Y progress report and you will see that they can be troublesome little buggers...

21 inches? how does it close? I can't if its 2 inches out.

if its that far out then the casrs been stoved up the arse big style.

The holes for the =hnges will allow maybe an inch of adjustment.
