just been sorting out that 1 bent alloy.
It was kerbed I assume by the other guy.
Tyre is still on so that made it trickier.
Heated it up with the blowtorch and belted it out. Looks quite good, well the lack or pain't doesn't but its round again.
My right hand is a bit tingly from the beating.
took pics but can't get my webspace to work, I blam Chet as its always his fault.
Its cooling down now, then I will pump the tyre up, before it wouldn't even pump up. |

It's called "vibration white finger" JB or Reynaud's disease to give it it's full and proper medical name. It's common in people who work with power tools alot, the veins in the hands and fingers go into spasm and so affects the blood supply. My ex has it and his fingers nearly went gangrenous because of it so beware!!!! |

just stuck the wheels on the megane.
They don't go, stick out to far, they look fine on a 19 as the arch is flared but on the megane its just pointy if you know what I mean.
So what to do. |

I tried to straighten out the other 17 inch alloy I had.
The same as the ones on the back of the white chamade.
I could get 3 of my fingers in between the tyre and wheel thats how big the gap was.
Anyway my cousin Jamie had the blowtorch i was on the hammer duty.
It all started off nicely, indeed it was fine until it was just about there, as in maybe 2/3 mm to go, I hit it to long and it cooled to much, a tiny crack appeared. Not happy.
Need to get the tyres off the 2 cracked wheels as they are in good nick. |

beasts engine bay, note 17 on the white un top right corner

it was that bad I could get a finger in between the tyre and rim
after a bit of work
Its not pretty but its round again, holds pressure and does the job nicely. |
