my 1.8rt normaly starts up first time everytime since i had it for 1.5years now but for the last couple weeks hot starting has ben a wee bit of a problem .on my way to work i parked up at tescos for 10 mins and went back to start up ,i can hear the starter motor turning but not starting the car up so i open the bonnet fiddle with the plug leads ,leads connecting to the dizzy cap get into the car and it starts up . is this the sign for the renewal of the ignition components or it might be releated to something different?

the crasnk angle sensor might be packing in.

Use a sporay can on it to cool it down, can of lynx or something. If it then goes straight away thats the problem.
