water leak from the bleed screw

started up the chamade ,and as soon as i did this water started dripping from the bleed screw ,i had this problem a week ago in fact when i first fitted the second hand radiator JB donated me (THANK YOU BUDDY)
i thought the problem was with the bleed screw itself so i took the screw of my other radiator and fitted .but the problem is still there
and funny enough the water is dripping from the middle of the screw not from the edges
what the feck ????? is this a usual problem ????

btw ,i seated the washer on the bleed screw properly so thats not the problem

no its not a normal problem, get a new screw from renault 2quid or something

got the bleed screw out yesterday and blow air through it ,yes it has a tiny hole in the middle and i cant see it . filled all the gaps with super glue (loads of it) and let it dry overnight . it produced and extra airtight layer and it looks strong .will hopefully work nicely

then the glue pops out at 130mph and the engine pops along with it.

I was doing about 90/100 when the coolant was coming out of my coolant cap wioth Soneji in the car

Only popping the bonnet at his house to do the usual bleeding of the rad did we see the coolant bottle empty and the bonnet soaking, no steam of anything was given out.

yeah pain in the arse ordering stuff from renault...got to be there in person to pay for it. round here the number i used to have for the local parts department now puts me thru to a central place in cardiff...where they chk swansea stock...point?

i just renault dealer frt office and ask to spk to parts....still pointless as i cant order it...

schakal you do realise that cyanoacrylate ('super glue') is not meant for gap filling, and in fact it wont cure fully if used that way unless you use a very specific type or accelerator?

when i buggered my bleed screw i drilled down the middle and fitted a 2mm bolt and nut right down the middle to hold it together so i could use the car. That leaked so I filled the thumbscrew end with epoxy. Then I bought a new one ASAP.

nahhh,i have another one anyway i blowed through that and feels allright.
will try that one and run the car on idle to see if it leaks.
that bleed screw at the moment is the least of my worries to be honest Crying or Very sad
