Reading through this month's AutoCar mag this morning, and came to a section about what those crazy-barsteward yanks have come up with...which is sweeeeeet as!! 
Basically, Chrysler put out a competition whereby you come up with a whacky idea of what could do with being powered by a HEMI engine.

from memory, hemi engine hemisperical chambered head. designed and built by chrysler . hence chrysler hemi. hemisperical chamber is a very old design but very efficent arguably the best production chamber design in a v8. not aware of it being used on any other engine design. |

its been used in loads of engine.
last that I can think of where it was named in a straight 4 would be the cvh compound valve angle hemispherical head |
