well schakal, it is the best mod money can buy, it is a complete bargain that boosts the power of your engine by 10% for a couple of quid. Why more people don't buy these great deals I don't know as they seem to be everywhere on ebay, yet noone seems to want them. They are all missing out big time if you ask me. |

well they do work. Kinda
Don't offer the power gains stated but trick the engine into overfuelling. Unfortunately it makes the car run like shit from cold as well as bumoing up your petrol costs and probably causing a terminal fault in the ECU.
I know.
Got the same resistors at work and fiddled around with them on my old cavalier before i got rid.
Good idea if you don't mind fucking ur car up for an extra 2bhp when warm at high revs! Ultimately they're a loada |

yeah and then the standard ECU compensates for because it realises that more fuel is going than has been mapped for and you end up with exactly the same mixture and no power gain. its called piggy backing and on most moddern ECU's like renault's it don't work because it uses more than one sensor for the mappings ie air sensor, lambda, TPS, temp etc etc. I expect chris will elaberate, he knows more than me |
