ok, wheres the cooling fan relay, as i think mines a bit shafted? aux fuse box, or under the dash? cheers

I didn't think there was a relay for it as such, if there is one it'll be in the aux box near the header tank I suppose |

no relay it has a constant live feed.
You have probably melted the loom in your recent adventures. |

ok, well heres the deal, the fan works intermittantly, albeit for a cupla seconds. works once and then wont swithc on again.
i unplugged the rad switch connector, and bridged the terminals. the fan switched on for all of 2secs, then switched off by itself, hasnt worked since then.
how does the rad switch wire into the rad fan loom? cus its different coloured wires on the rad switch and fan loom. was thinking of running the switch in series with the fan from the battery, which would work, but not sure whethere the switch will like 20amps running thru it.
